Exceprt of a forward from Doc Reitz…
In honor of Elijah, we are sponsoring a Euchre and Bunco tournament, Friday, March 2, 2012, at the Germantown Legion. Please see the attached flyer for details. If you have any problems opening the attachment, please call Tina Kohrmann at 618-789-2815 or Dee Ottensmeier at 618-526-4481 for details.
This year we will be collecting aluminum can tabs and making a donation to the Ronald McDonald House. We already have 55 lbs of tabs and are hoping to double this number before the Top Tab Pandemonium in May. Please bring your tabs with you to game night! If you can’t make it, but have tabs, let us know and we’ll make arrangements to pick them up!
Also, if you are interested in eating before the tournament, the Germantown Legion will be having their Friday night Lenten Fish fry in the basement of the Legion. They serve from 4:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Our team will be walking in the American Heart Association Heart Walk on May 19, 2012, and the Congenital Heart Walk on August 26, 2012. If you would like to walk with us, please let us know. We are always looking to grow our team. You probably have a loved one who has been affected by heart disease; if you share the name of your loved one with us, we will carry that person in spirit as we walk to fight heart disease.
We ask that you forward this invitation to others in your address book.. Although seating is limited we are excited to share this event with as many people as possible. If you are unable to join us, but would like to make a donation, you can do so by sending a check payable to the American Heart Association or to The Children’s Heart Foundation. Donations can be mailed to Tina and Jason Kohrmann, 7695 State Route 161, Germantown, Illinois 62245.
If you are unable to join us and unable to make a donation, we understand and ask for your continued prayers. We have been riding on the kite tails of prayers throughout this journey. We know that as PRAYERS go up, BLESSINGS come down.
We thank you for walking in this journey with us.
We wish you love, peace, health and happiness!
God bless,
Tina, Jason and Elijah Kohrmann
